The Kent Cultural Alliance and the Kent County Ag Center – Home of the Kent County Fair – Announce a call for a Mural Artist!

This mural will live on the wall of the comfort stations at the Kent County Fair Grounds in Tolchester, Maryland. The mural should be a realistic interpretation celebrating the agricultural life of Maryland’s smallest and most rural County.


  • The winning artist will be selected by the Kent Ag Board Members
  • Funding of $2500 will be provided by Kent Cultural Alliance
  • Paint & Materials will be provided by Sherwin Williams.
  • Mural to be realistic representation of aspects of agricultural life in Kent County, MD
  • Mural size – approximately 35 feet wide, 9 feet tall
  • Final Design must be reviewed by Kent Ag Board for approval
  • Use non toxic paints/painting methods when possible

To Apply – please send a letter of interests which also states your ability to work on Mural scale. Include three images of past large scale work.
