Please join us on Friday, March 24 to read one of your favorite poems at the 10th Anniversary Poetry Festival at the Bookplate, 112 South Cross Street, Chestertown, Maryland.
We’d love for you to contact us at bookplate@verizon.net or 410-778-4167 to reserve a time slot for your reading, sometime between 4:00 and 7:00 pm. OR, drop in on the day of the event and we’ll welcome you to read.
This delightful event brings folks from around the region into The Bookplate to celebrate poetry, enjoy refreshments, and look back at the many years of this gathering with a special showing of videos and pictures from years past. We will also pay tribute to those friends who recently passed away, Howard McIntyre, Bennett Lamond and Susan Argo, who over the years contributed to our Festival.
Robert Earl Price, founder of the Poetry Festival, Tom Martin host at The Bookplate, and Leslie Prince Raimond, Director of Kent County Arts Council will be among the readers.
